Galway West

This is again a new constituency as it will now incorporate around 7,500 new constituents, mainly from South Mayo. There are 5 seats up for grabs in the Galway West constituency. The sitting TDs are Brian Walsh (Fine Gael), Sean Kyne (Fine Gael), Derek Nolan (Labour), Eamon O’Cuiv (Fianna Fail) and Noel Grealish (Independent).  Brian Walsh announced in November that he was retiring from politics due to health reasons.
